Sweet country morning,
I'm waking to blue sunny skies.
My eyes are wide open this

I picked up the pieces from the night before.
A lonesome wind howled against my back screen door.
Too much whiskey with those good old boys,
Two-steppin' cowboys on the wooden dance floor.

Then, like a light through the darkest night,
I found the "Love of my life",

You gave it wings,
Each new dawn brings us
